Facing the sea with spring blossoms is an interactive work inspired from the poem Facing the sea with spring blossoms by Chinese poet: Haizi. The poem was written in January 1989, two months before Haizi committed suicide at the age of 25. Its title describes an ideal place for a home; facing the sea, having the happinese, at the same moment that flowers bloom in spring. This poem put me think of the revolution in Beijing at 1989. I think there is huge contrast between the society and the hope of Haizi. I want to express his warm wish by my vocal recitation. And, I built also the interactive image and music with my hand.
