Venice Art Biennial 2022 ‘Personal Structures’ | Closing Week
‘The European Cultural Centre closes the sixth edition of Personal Structures with a series of exclusive events.
It has been an intense six months with creativity filling the rooms, ambition steering conversations and passion encouraging more projects. The art exhibition Personal Structures – Reflections has been a place of artistic and cultural exchange, a place of growth and sharing that after half a year of opening will close on the 27th of November 2022.
To honour the end of this edition, the European Cultural Centre (ECC) is delighted to present its Closing Week which will consist
of a series of engaging events that will take place from the 19th to the 27th of November, 2022 around all ECC’s venues: Palazzo Bembo, Palazzo Mora, Palazzo Michiel, and Marinaressa Gardens.
Organised and hosted by the European Cultural Centre, the sixth edition of Personal Structures features a wide selection of artworks from internationally- renowned and emerging artists, photographers and sculptors, as well as showcases projects by worldwide academic institutions.
Nearly 200 participants have joined this year’s edition by presenting their works in the historical venues of Palazzo Mora, Palazzo Bembo and the Marinaressa Gardens; and throughout the year a rich program of events has been hosted in Venice with academic discussions and artist talks as well as creative workshops and moving performances. With an overall contribution of 51 countries, the ECC has presented an edition unlike any other which this year has revolved around the idea of reflections.
Between the 19th and 27th of November, 2022, the ECC’s venues will host diverse activities developed by some of the exhibition’s participants including a photography conference, a talk on gender fluidity in art and a performance through Venice, among others. A complete overview of the program can be found further below.’
