After graduating from hotel school Frédéric worked in famous venues such as Brasserie Julien, Castel, Club Med, Barclay and the officers’ mess of the Elysées Palace.
For the last 10 years, he has dedicated himself to his long-term passions of interior decoration and space management.
Drawing, graphic arts, and his vision of the modern world have naturally led him to the design and creation of contemporary furniture.
In 2010, aged 33, Frédéric Julien created his own brand and produced his first collection, a range of numbered-series chairs and paintings. His work was recognised and rewarded with the Contemporary Arts medal as well as the European Contemporary Arts medal.
His contemporary furniture collections, rich in colour and modern design, include two of his signature pieces - the “Brigitte Bardot” and “Mondrian” chairs.
